Principal: Dr. Amy Necaise
The office of the principal serves to coordinate the vital operational, safety, and academic systems that keep our school running smoothly each day. As the instructional, operational, and cultural leader of our campus, Dr. Necaise acts as a behind-the-scenes coordinator—managing campus logistics, strategic planning, and personnel development so that our educators can focus entirely on what they do best: teaching.
By directly managing school-wide academic standards and curriculum alignment, this office works to balance resources and streamline stakeholder communication. Dr. Necaise collaborates closely with the administrative team and instructional lead teachers to foster high-impact teaching frameworks and maintain an optimal, safe, and highly collaborative learning environment for our entire school family.
A Message from Our Principal
Welcome to Pearl River Central Elementary School!
There is a unique magic within the community here at PRCES. Our campus is a place of profound connection and growth, and I am deeply grateful to be a part of the family atmosphere that defines us.
The goal is that year after year, our focus remains steadfast: to be a place where every single student is seen, valued, and advocated for. As the instructional and cultural leader of our school, I am permanently committed to maintaining a high-performing learning environment where rigorous academic frameworks, positive behavior strategies, and comprehensive student supports come together seamlessly to serve the unique needs of every child.
It is a true blessing to call myself a Blue Devil and to lead an extraordinary administrative, instructional, and support team that is entirely dedicated to being the difference-makers our children deserve. Together with our families and community partners, we will continue to cultivate a lasting culture of excellence, belonging, and shared success.
"Every child deserves a champion—an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be."
— Rita Pierson
Proud to be a Blue Devil,
Dr. Amy Necaise
Dr. Amy Necaise has spent almost three decades serving in various roles across the educational landscape, including time as a classroom teacher, a middle school counselor, a district vocational director, and a campus administrator at both the elementary and high school levels. Her background is rooted in a collaborative approach to leadership, focusing on steady student growth, supportive school environments, and building strong, cohesive teams of educators.
In addition to her years in public K-12 education, Dr. Necaise has worked as an instructional coach and consultant supporting educators and campuses across the state of Mississippi. Her consulting work balanced both systemic and academic needs, focusing heavily on English, reading, and ACT preparation alongside providing guidance in data analysis, master scheduling, and positive behavioral frameworks. Guided by a deep belief in advocacy and community service, she also spent time directing a person-centered facility dedicated to helping adults with disabilities achieve personal goals and independence. She is grateful to bring these diverse experiences in service and systems-coordination to Pearl River Central Elementary School, ensuring our campus remains a structured, welcoming home for every child.
