A Letter from Our Principal:

Thank you for visiting the PRCES website!  Our school community is composed of 1500 superior students in pre-kindergarten through 5th grades and 165 excellent educators.  We consider it a privilege to serve families and our community by pouring into our students every single day.  Safety is a top priority which is why our campus is secure and all visitors must report to the office when arriving on campus.  Families are encouraged to attend school events by using the digital tickets that are shared via Parent Square.  

PRCES curriculum which is aligned to the Mississippi College and Career Readiness Standards challenges students to reach their full potential in a productive learning environment. Every student has a personal chromebook in the classroom and teachers have interactive student panels to promote student engagement.  Our students are screened using STAR Reading and Math three times per year.  Students in 2nd–5th grade also take three benchmarks a year in English Language Arts and math.  5th grade students take a science benchmark three times a year as well.  

We are extremely proud to be the largest elementary school in the state and rated an A through the Mississippi Department of Education’s Accountability Model!
