Pre K Early Learning Collaborative 

The Pearl River County School District Early Learning Collaborative Pre K program provides the opportunity for students in the community to be exposed to knowledge and skills that will benefit their education. The PRCSD has partnered with Picayune Head Start to begin one class for 20 local students. This program will increase readiness for Kindergarten by using all developmental areas- cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and kinesthetic. The teachers will focus on language, mathematics, science, social studies, art, physical development, fine and gross motor skills, health and safety, personal and social development and technology applications.  The daily routine will be age appropriate center based learning. The children will be active, play and enjoy their educational journey.
